This notice explains how SUMMA Logistics, Inc. handles information submitted through its contact and company driver application forms, its recruiting records and advertising measurement.
Information you provide
The driver application asks for your first and last name, US phone number, email address, Solo or Team preference and CDL-A driving experience. It records your agreement to this notice and the driver requirements confirmation shown on the form. The contact form asks for your name, email, US phone number and message, with a privacy confirmation. The fields and confirmations shown as required must be completed to submit the respective form.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, license copies, banking information or medical records through these forms.
How your information is used
Application information is used to review your interest in a company driver position, contact you, keep recruiting notes and avoid duplicate records. Contact inquiries are used to respond to your request and discuss the services you ask about. Submitting a form does not enroll you in an advertising email list or automated marketing text program. Advertising measurement is separate from reviewing your application.
Who receives your submission
Driver application notifications go to SUMMA’s recruiting and marketing mailboxes, with a copy to KUNST at the company’s direction. Contact inquiries go to SUMMA’s office and marketing mailboxes. These recipients can see the information included in the form.
Driver applications are stored privately in WordPress before transfer to SUMMA’s recruiting spreadsheet hosted by Google. Authorized staff use that spreadsheet to review applications and record recruiting activity. The website uses its existing email transport. Hosting, Google services, email, security and backup providers process information as part of operating these systems. A confirmation that an application was saved does not mean it has already reached every downstream service or that employment has been offered.
Records and retention
Recruiting records can include the original form details, submission time, form and notice versions, application reference, browser information, recruiting status and notes. Email copies, delivery records and backups may also retain information. Pending transfers and repeat requests retain the original application reference so an interruption does not create a new application each time.
Matching repeat applications within 30 days are normally linked to an existing application. That duplicate window is not a deletion schedule. There is no automatic 30-day deletion of recruiting records. A fixed retention period covering recruiting records, mailboxes and backup copies has not yet been established; contact the office about the records you submitted. Access, correction and deletion requests are reviewed as described below.
Cookies, technical information and Meta measurement
Visitors do not need an account to use these pages. WordPress sign-in for authorized administrators uses authentication cookies. Hosting and security systems may record IP addresses, browser information and access times. To help recover an interrupted application after a reload, this browser can keep pending form details in session storage with a two-hour recovery limit. A copy can remain until the page clears it or the browser closes that session. Confirmation clears the pending copy. This is separate from the recruiting records retained by SUMMA.
When Meta advertising measurement is enabled, it starts automatically on page visits. You do not need to click an advertising permission button to submit an application. You can turn off future measurement using Privacy choices. This integration also respects Global Privacy Control and a saved refusal in this browser. Your application can still be processed when advertising measurement is off.
When measurement is active, Meta may receive visits, application events and permitted subsequent recruiting outcomes. Matching information can include your email, phone number, first and last name and an application identifier converted into one-way SHA-256 hashes, together with browser and click identifiers, the application page URL, IP address and browser user-agent. Hashing is not anonymization: Meta can use matching information to associate events with accounts. We do not send recruiting notes, application checkbox wording or sensitive documents as advertising event fields. Only reviewed event definitions may be enabled.
Automatic operation is not recorded as your consent. A saved refusal remains effective in this browser until you change it or clear its stored data. Application measurement records are checked for a maximum of 180 days, and attribution identifiers are used for up to 90 days. Stored browser entries can remain until overwritten or cleared. Technical receipt references help the system record a withdrawal. You can change your choice using Privacy choices. A withdrawal stops future SUMMA measurement from this browser and is sent to the server for associated application references. If you are offline, the server update is pending until it can be delivered. It cannot recall information already sent to Meta. For records submitted in another browser or before this control was available, contact the office. Meta’s own handling is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.
Contact, corrections and privacy requests
To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for future advertising measurement, email office@summalogistics.us or call +1 617-500-1115. Include enough information to identify your submission without sending sensitive documents. Identity verification may be needed before disclosing or changing records. Applicable recordkeeping requirements and existing backup copies may limit immediate deletion. Declining advertising measurement does not withdraw an application from recruiting.
This notice covers the website contact and company driver forms. The separate operational trailer inspection form uses the existing WordPress form system.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated when the forms, recipients, data use or tracking change. The date above identifies this version.
