Privacy Policy.
Last updated: September 19, 2026.
This notice explains how SUMMA Logistics, Inc. handles information submitted through the contact and company driver application forms in this new website. The forms send your information by email to the recipients described below.
Information you provide
The driver application asks for your first and last name, US phone number, email address, Solo or Team preference and CDL-A driving experience. It also records your agreement to this notice and your confirmation of at least two years of CDL-A experience and a clean driving record. The contact form asks for your name, email, US phone number and message, with a separate privacy confirmation. These fields are required to submit the respective form.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, license copies, banking information or medical records through these forms.
How your information is used
Application information is used to review your interest in a company driver position and contact you about that application. Contact inquiries are used to respond to your request and discuss the services you ask about. Submitting either form does not enroll you in an advertising email list or automated marketing text program.
Who receives your submission
Driver applications are emailed to SUMMA’s recruiting and marketing mailboxes, with a copy to KUNST at the company’s direction. Contact inquiries are emailed to SUMMA’s office and marketing mailboxes. These recipients can see the information included in the form.
The website uses WordPress and its existing Post SMTP email connection through Google’s Gmail API. Hosting, email, security and backup systems also process information as part of operating the website and delivering or retaining messages. The new forms are not connected to a CRM.
Records and retention
The email includes the submitted information, submission time and privacy notice version; application emails also include the qualification confirmation. Copies can remain in recipient mailboxes, the website’s email delivery logs and backups. Post SMTP currently has logging enabled with a maximum of 250 log entries; this limit is not a deletion schedule for mailbox or backup copies.
The new form handler does not create a separate applicant database. It keeps hashed submission references for up to 24 hours to reduce duplicate sends, and temporary rate-limit records for up to one hour. These records use a keyed hash rather than the submitted text or raw IP address. Expired records may remain in storage until WordPress removes them. A fixed retention period for email and backup copies has not yet been established for these new forms; contact the office about the records you have submitted.
Cookies, technical information and tracking
Visitors do not need an account to use these pages. WordPress sign-in for authorized site administrators uses authentication cookies. The hosting and security systems may record request details, including IP addresses, browser information and access times. These marketing pages do not add Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, advertising cookies or a marketing consent subscription. This notice covers the contact and company driver application forms. The separate operational trailer inspection form uses the existing WordPress form system.
Contact, corrections and privacy requests
To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw your permission for future handling of an inquiry, email office@summalogistics.us or call +1 617-500-1115. Include enough information to identify your submission without sending sensitive documents. Identity verification may be needed before disclosing or changing records. Applicable recordkeeping requirements and existing backup copies may limit immediate deletion.
Changes to this notice
This notice will be updated when the forms, recipients, data use or tracking change. The date above identifies this version.
